Jakarta, unlike in men, women tend to be more difficult to feel an orgasm. There is a very striking difference between the perceived orgasm men and women. What?

In physiological changes, orgasm in men and women is almost no difference between the same alias. But the brain scans of women and men during orgasm showed significant differences in how each reached sexual pleasure.

Scientists in the Netherlands found striking differences in how men and women view sex. Men assess the need for physical stimulation is a key factor to achieve orgasm, while the female orgasm comes from feeling comfortable, relaxed and without worries.

For women, mood, comfort and a sense of closeness plays a much bigger role than in the erogenous zones of physical stimulation to achieve orgasm.

Brain scans of men and women during sexual activity reduces the activity described in the amygdala, which is part of the brain that controls fear and anxiety.

In men, increased brain activity during sex is most prevalent in the secondary somatosensory cortex, which implies a high value attached to physical sensations.

In contrast, the female brain scans showed only a slight increase in activity of the primary somatosensory cortex.

"For men, the touch is the most important. For women, it is not so important," said Gert Holstege, Neuroscientist at the University of Groningen, as reported by Medindia on Saturday (07/09/2011).

Holstege added that he feels is more important to be stimulated on the penis than women are stimulated on the clitoris.

"We know from these images that each sex experiences stimulation differently," lid Holstege.
