A consulting firm Tesco Diet diet programs, held a poll of 2000 women in Britain who have been on a diet last year. "Psychologically, dieters are more motivated to continue the diet if started early in the week," said a spokesman for Tesco Diets.
People who start a diet program on Sunday, the average weight loss of 3.6 kg after three weeks and 88 percent of whom are still maintaining their weight.
The average woman's diet program runs three times a year. Most dieters give up on Friday after suffering stress at work during the week.
