Jakarta, Not a few who consider disclosure of information in the 'Internet age' trigger free sex among teenagers. But according to a recent survey of Internet users, 40 percent of teens around the world have never had sex.
The survey of 1210 young men and 1,100 young women around the world is revealed, 40 percent or nearly half of teens aged 18-24 years is still virgin or not having sex. Even though just oral sex, 20 percent of young men and 29 young women claimed to have never done.
Virginity is referred to in this study certainly refers to the actual sexual experiences conducted in pairs. Because on the other hand, 11 percent of respondents who claimed it was still virgin has never masturbated.
However, a recent survey conducted by the adult magazine Playboy can make parents think a little more serene teenage child. At least, not all teen sex addiction free as many people feared.
Especially in this era of information disclosure, everyone including young children can freely access the pornography. Quoted from Yourtango, Thursday (19/05/2011), access porn on the internet has increased to 78 percent, than originally only 40 percent in 1983.
Presumably because of increasingly easy access to porn movies, young virgin who still do not feel this would have to have sex. Possibly, the scenes in the movie was more representative of adult sexual fantasies than if the do it yourself with your partner.
Research carried out by filling in the questionnaire via the Internet is claimed as the largest in 25 years. Earlier in 1983, Playboy also conducted similar surveys involving more respondents ie nearly 65,000 men and 15,000 women.
