Jakarta, method of fertilization in vitro fertilization is done by way of an egg by a sperm outside the body of the parent. One study found that the prayer appears to increase the success of IVF fertilization nearly doubled.

The findings, published in the Journal of Reproductive Medicine reveals that a group of women who prayed for by someone else have a success rate of pregnancy by 50%. While women who do not pray only by 26%.

Interestingly, none of the women undergoing in vitro fertilization procedure (IVF) know that they prayed for by others.

The researchers acknowledge that the results of this study seem overwhelming and confirmed that an unknown biological factors may play a role in influencing the differences in these two groups.

"We publish our findings and hope to spark discussion and see if something can be learned from it. We want to understand the phenomenon of biological or other phenomena that cause an increase almost double the chance of pregnancy," said researcher Dr. Rogerio Lobo, chairman of obstetrics and gynecology (OB / GYN) at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons as reported altpenis.com, Sunday (12/02/2012).

The study involved 199 women who planned to undergo IVF procedures at Cha Hospital, Seoul, Korea, in December 1998 to March 1999. Researchers then divided the mothers into two groups, prayer groups of 100 men and women who do not pray for the group containing 99 women.

The prayer for expectant mothers living in the United States, Canada and Australia and did not know a woman who underwent the IVF procedure. The predominantly Christian prayer and separated into three groups. One group was given a photograph of women and pray for an increase in the percentage of pregnancy. The second group prayed to improve the effectiveness of the first group. The third group prayed for the effectiveness of the other two groups.

All three groups began to pray within five days of initial treatment to stimulate egg development and continue to pray for three weeks. In addition to finding the highest pregnancy rate among women in a prayer group, the researchers found that older women benefit more from prayer. In women aged 30 hinga 39 years, the pregnancy rate in the prayer group was 51%, compared with 23% in the non-prayer group.

Other studies have shown that prayer is also beneficial for heart patients.
