Yogurt is rich in essential nutrients like calcium, protein, magnesium, riboflavin and thiamine. Yogurt is perfect for people who need a healthy breakfast on the go.

A study published in the Nigerian Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2008 showed that eating yogurt 170 milliliters per day can increase HDL levels significantly in a group of adult males over a period of 6 months.

The authors note that the probiotics in yogurt can alter the metabolism of cholesterol to HDL cholesterol increase production.

3. Oatmeal walnut (walnut)
Oatmeal is a heart-healthy breakfast choice because it helps reduce bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein or LDL) or without affecting HDL.

Add chopped walnuts or diced into a bowl of oatmeal can help lower LDL and raise HDL. According to a study report has been published in Diabetes Care, walnuts are a source of monounsaturated fats are healthy and affected levels of HDL cholesterol.
