Indeed Bisexual Unlike Ada and Friendly

In one study, scientists at Northwestern University found evidence that some men who identified themselves as bisexual really turned on by women and men. For those who claim bisexuality, this finding is not surprising.

But for scientists, the phenomenon of bisexuality has long been intriguing. A 2005 study reported that someone pointed out the tendency for problems deciding bisexual sexual orientation, whether homosexual or heterosexual.

In a new study published online in the journal Biological Psychology, the assumption was proved wrong. The bisexual men in particular are really interested in the two sexes, ie on their own fellow men and women at once.

To prove it, the scientists recruited a number of men who confessed bisexual who netted from several sites gay and bisexual men. The criteria are very strict, for example, must have a sexual experience with at least 2 people from each sex and having a romantic relationship at least three months with at least one person of each sex.

The participants were asked to watch some porn videos featuring same-sex and intimacy with the opposite sex. Meanwhile, to observe his interest, participants were fitted with a vital tool genital sensors that can detect the intensity of erection.

The results showed that men respond bisexual videos that highlight the sensual side of a male or female. Male homosexual or gay only video response sensual men, whereas heterosexual men aroused only female on the video.

"This will justify the existence of many bisexual men who had heard of previous research and felt that scientists do not understand them," said Allen Rosenthal, a doctoral student who is the lead author on the study as quoted by the NYTimes (8/24/2011).

Research at Northwestern is the second time to report the typical patterns of sexual arousal among bisexual men published this year. In March, a study in Archives of Sexual Behavior reported the results of different approaches to this question.
